Event Description

Travel through time to meet one of Indianapolis’s most inspiring women as she hobnobs with guests in her popular salon, regaling her audience with colorful tales of her life and the historic institutions she helped to establish in Indianapolis. Author and editor Ray Boomhower (Warfleigh resident) from the Indiana Historical Society will engage May Wright Sewall, played by former president of the Propylaeum Club Jan Wahls, in conversation. Historic preservationist, Ron Zmyslo, will lead a guided tour of the Propylaeum Club.
