Break-ins (vehicles)

Hello everybody,

Just wanted to give everybody a heads up:

Had two of my vehicles pilfered by thiefs but they didn't get anything (10/26/09). I leave my cars unlocked and empty. I could lock them but I think that is an invite to break a window or strip the locks. I think the most I ever lost was maybe a stick of gum, or my daughter's half eaten chicken strips dinner.

I get at least one or two of these incidents per year and I have lived here for almost 8 years.

Lets try to make a difference and report EVERY single incident to the police.

You could try locking your car? You got your car "broken" into a while ago and admitted you didn't lock it. This ain't the 60's Dave. Times change. Your Taurus is
out there, people pass, people try the handles, oh, it's open....... No gum!

This message was to alert my neighbors about crime in the neighborhood. As far as locking my car, that is my choice.
