SUVs stolen

Just talked to the guys living across the street from us (middle of the 6400 block of Broadway) who told me two of their SUVs were stolen from their driveway last night. Their house backs onto the alley between Broadway and College Ave. Their cars were parked in the driveway behind their house, but I don't think there's access to the driveway from the alley (at least not to get a car out). A policeman is there right now talking with them. If I find out more info, I'll post it.

Permalink Reply by Moira Dugan on November 7, 2009 at 9:56am: Thanks for reminding me. I talked to one of the owners yesterday who said the cars were found behind Broad Ripple High School. Apparently they have the guy in custody after a high speed chase on the westside of town (I have not looked this up in the news). He also told me this was the same guy who held up a 10 yr old at gunpoint to steal a bike. Again, not sure of the facts myself, this is just what the guy across the street told me.; ▶ Reply to This
