Wow for some reason I am not shocked at all!
My wife just asked what all the choppers were doing, and I jokingly said "Someone probably robbed the VP again." Two minutes later, I log on and find out it's no joke. This is getting ridiculous.
And perhaps then you can go provide security at the Village Pantry.
Just added a post before I saw yours -- VP was robbed again.
About 9:50 p.m. tonight the police stopped and told us that the Village Pantry was robbed, and the robber (an African-American male) was still at large.
If our BR Fire Station were reinstated, we would have had action much sooner, however, they couldn't do anything until IPL arrived to turn off the juice. How long did it take IPL? .... quite a bit longer than IFD!

This happened at the alley in front of us. I called 911 and they transfered me to the fire department. It took almost 10 minutes for them to arrive on the scene. Scary to think if it were a major fire.
We wondered what caused the blackout. Thanks for clearing that up!
That happened over on Delaware a few years ago. I'm embarrassed to admit that my first thought when hearing the explosion was "The terrorists are here!". :)
