- I am married to Amy Barron; we have Calvin, who was born in February of 2006, and Kaia, born in November of 2008. I am an attorney at Barnes & Thornburg LLP.
- Interests
- Aside from the family: work, food, and booze. Not necessarily in that order. I also like to listen to music. Fan of Fugazi. Like the Pink Floyd. Enjoy the Jawbreaker and the PE and the Notwist. Heard the Arcade Fire, but, unlike many, was not excited about their "second" (actually, third) album; I liked their "first" (actually, second) album better. Recently started listening to music with lots of kazoos.
If you're keeping score, the best new album of 2009 is P.O.S.'s "Never Better" (hip hop). We'll see how long it takes for me to update that.
It further should be noted that I sometimes watch TV all the time.
Additionally, I like cars with manual transmissions and rear wheel drive. For clarity, a manual transmission requires a clutch that one operates with one's foot. You might describe my preference as a quirk, but let me corner you at a cocktail party some day and explain my reasoning in detail over the course of several hours. I'm sure you will be enlightened & won't find my tirade against automatic transmissions the least bit tedious.
Sometimes, when I'm not driving or working, I read a book. Sometimes I read said book while drinking the booze. Very occasionally, I read said book with both the booze and the food.
Finally, I live the life of a rock star.

We have been working on bylaws for the neighborhood association and we really feel we need a legal read through by someone who know something about the law. That person is not me-I know science education! But I thought maybe you would be willing to read them and give us some feedback about any issues.
